Amazon has just teamed up with the NHS – Alexa will now give medical advice from the NHS website when requested by the user. Amazon has stated that all data will be confidential. The NHS is partnering with more private companies including Babylon Health, Push Doctor and Now GP, who all have access to NHS services. The BBC reports that the move has split opinion among artificial intelligence (AI) experts and data ethicists.
