Active Care Group is to close the Bobbins Care Home in Swindon that has been providing residential care services to adults with learning or physical disabilities.
Residents and their families were informed out of the blue on Monday, December 2 by ACG that Bobbins would be closing for good on December 31. Active Care Group says it will work with the local authority, families of residents and their relevant multidisciplinary teams to assist in the safe transfer of all residents, but residents’ families are reported to be shocked.
